How Much Do School of Booze Online Courses Cost?
The price is £50 for one course and there are discounts for signing up for more than one course. Two courses = £90. Three courses = £125. All prices include VAT @ 20%.
Can I Buy Courses For Other People?
Yes, we sell Gift Vouchers for courses. You will find them in the shop pages.
Can I Pick & Choose Subjects From Different Levels (Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced) Of The Courses?
Sorry, we do not offer a bespoke menu of online courses so mixing & matching of subjects from different levels is not possible.
How Long Do The Courses Take To Complete?
With listening to the audio files, reading the course notes, revising for the examination and taking the examination, it is around 5 hours but quicker for speed readers.
Do I Have To Complete The Course in One Go Or Can I Stop & Start If I Need To?
You can access the paid course (s) whenever you want to and you can take as long as you want to listen, read, revise, and do the examination. You can stop and start whenever you want. We made the courses as convenient as possible!
How Long Do I Have Access To My Paid Online Courses For?
You can access the courses for 2 years from purchase. You can also download and save the written files. The audio files are versions of the written files. The audio files sit on the ‘My Courses’ areas of the School of Booze website and cannot be downloaded and saved but can be accessed when you need them up to two years from purchase.
Will I Be Accredited/Certified If I Take School of Booze Courses?
No, but the courses are written by Jane Peyton who is accredited/certified through the Beer & Cider Academy, and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. School of Booze courses cover the type of knowledge learned in accredited/certified courses with the Beer & Cider Academy, and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. School of Booze courses also include some extra subjects not covered in certified courses.
Questions About Our Corporate Events
Does School of Booze have its own premises?
No. Our clients either ask us to host events in their offices, or to find a private venue for them, usually in private pub rooms.
Where does School of Booze operate?
Most of our clients are based in London but we can travel to clients’ locations (budget permitting).
What type of venue do you host in?
We prefer private rooms in pubs that are set up for Corporate Events and with a selection of quality drinks so that guests have a good choice. We have also hosted many events in clients’ premises.
Does School of Booze just specialise in Beer, Cider & Wine Tasting?
No. Depending on the venue we can include any alcoholic drinks for tasting such as gin, whisky, mead. We do not offer cocktail making classes but we recommend an excellent company that does – The Mixology Group https://mixologygroup.co.uk/barman-hire-events/
Does School of Booze offer anything for People Who Do Not Drink Alcohol?
Yes we can source a range of non-alcohol options. We can also run a beer tasting including only non-alcohol beers.
How Much Does School of Booze Charge for A Corporate Event?
For a London based event our prices start at £1,500 + VAT. That covers up to 20 people. Depending where the location is public transport expenses for the host may be added.
Are Your Hosts Accredited/Certified Drinks Experts?
Yes. Where possible Jane Peyton, founder and Principal of the School of Booze is the host. She is accredited/certified through the Beer & Cider Academy, and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. If Jane is not available we have other accredited/certified hosts.
Does School of Booze Host Private Events?
No, sorry, we just host corporate events.

Does School of Booze Produce Events For Stag or Hen Parties?
No we don’t – sorry.
