I challenge anyone to show me a sexier glass design than this voluptuous beauty for @erdinger.uk.

I had the pleasure of drinking this luscious wheat beer matched with delicious tartiflette in the newly opened Alpine Terrace of @elondirestaurant inside @hyattlondonstratford

I attended a new season wine & beer range trade show presented by @asda. It was hosted at the National Theatre and if you look carefully past the photo of the scrumptious stout brewed for ASDA by @sirencraftbrew you might spot the dome of St Paul`s Cathedral.

There are seven new beers in the Asquith 1965 and they are all highly quaffable. My faves were the Siren stout, the best bitter by @ossettbrewery and the Session IPA from @kirkstallbrewery . The Asquith 1965 range also includes a pilsner style, Hazy Pale, and New England IPA. It`s a well priced way for shoppers who may not be familiar with certain styles to explore the diversity of beer.

My Drink of the Week: Rogue Irish Cream Liqueur

Smooth, luxurious, delicious and only a tenner!

What it is: Rogue is a rich, silky 17% ABV Irish cream liqueur - a blend of fresh Irish dairy cream and Irish whiskey made exclusively for @asda in Ireland.

Why I’ve chosen it: I blind tasted Rogue next to Bailey’s and I found it superior in aroma, flavour, texture, and drinking experience. It has notes of vanilla, toffee and cocoa with gentle whiskey warmth. On the scrumptious scale of 1 to 10 it measures 11.

Best served: I recommend several ways to drink this. 1) Well chilled, over a couple of cubes of ice. 2) Stirred into a hot coffee or hot chocolate. 3) As a Mudslide or Irish Alexander cocktail.

Where to buy it: Exclusively from Asda

I had an insightful and most jolly time at the Whisky Showcase hosted by @masterofmalt not least because I was introduced to the range of whisk (e)y from @boutiqueywhisky which, with its branding is bringing the fun to whisk (e)y, taking away the mystery, and attracting new drinkers who might otherwise think whisk(e)y is too serious, tartan-ey, and oly for sipping in a haunted castle.

I also tasted a range of bourbon from @brothersbondbourbon - smooooooth. And I finished the day by scoffing lots of whisky liqueur chocolates which made me very happy indeed.
